The Farm

Runnymede Farm sits on 54 acres of rolling hills and green pasture in southeast Louisiana (one hour directly north of New Orleans), which makes for amazing turnout for your horse.  Three small paddocks and two large back fields are maintained seasonally by renovating and planting.  In the winter, lack of grass is supplemented with round bales cut from our very own pastures that summer.

The barn features 13 stalls, each 12' x 12' with rubber mats. The barn is insulated and designed for maximum air flow.

Other amenities include:

  • Tiled wash rack with hot water
  • 12' x 12' matted grooming station
  • Climate controlled tack room with full size washer and dryer
  • Feed room
  • Extra wide concrete aisle
  • Large windows and horse panel between stalls, allowing horses to remain social, yet protected.

Indoor Arena

Our indoor arena is 125' x 100' - just enough room to get out of the elements -  and is lighted for riding at night or early in the morning. It also features a three board fence with a bottom kickboard, underground watering system and impeccably maintained clay/sand footing.

In the future, we plan to add the remaining half of the building in order to house a full regulation size dressage arena with mirrors.

Outdoor Arena

Our outdoor arena is 225' x 100', made of the same footing as the indoor and also with a watering system.  This arena houses a regulation dressage arena and then some. In the future, we plan to add lights to this arena as well to allow riders to practice tests whenever their schedule permits.

Both arenas are watered and dragged regularly.
